A few weeks ago I got to travel to Richmond for Brittany and Tae’s Libby Hill and Belle Isle engagement session! We had originally scheduled their engagement session for back in May, but because of some rain and VCU’s graduation we had to reschedule. The day of their session ended up being 90 degrees making it one of the hottest sessions I’ve had this summer. But we had clear skies and a nice breeze to help us out the whole time!

Despite living up in Northern Virginia, Brittany and Tae chose Richmond for their engagement session because it was the city where they met and fell in love. I loved exploring with them and it was so nice to get to hear all about their favorite parts of Richmond. We started at Libby Hill so we could get some beautiful shots of the cityscape. It was a tad humid, but Brittany and Tae were great sports about snuggling up and sharing a lot of laughs despite the heat!

After we headed over to Belle Isle. I’ve seen so many beautiful sessions done here, but never actually visited myself! The walkway across runs right underneath the highway with fantastic views of the city that we hit on the way over and the way back once the city started to light up!
