Tucked away in the countryside, Goodstone Inn and Restaurant is a romantic bed and breakfast located in Middleburg, Virginia. It also happened to be the perfect backdrop for Lauren and Shane’s engagement session! Goodstone Inn has a cute courtyard, winding paths, ivy walls and some big open fields. We originally had picked a location closer to Leesburg, but after I saw Goodstone Inn at an editorial shoot I knew that the fields at sunset couldn’t be beat. Overall, it matched perfectly with what Lauren had told me she was looking for in an engagement session location.

Lauren and Shane just happened to find me on Facebook a few months ago, and I am so excited to be their wedding photographer. They’re fellow JMU alums and I had such a great time getting to know them last weekend! They were actually my last session of 2017 and braved the coldest temperatures of all. You’d never be able to tell though by how well they toughed it out! After their engagement session I am so excited for their wedding in September at East Lynn Farm!
