Amanda found her passion for photography in high school, and went on to become the youngest person to be juried in as an Associate Artist at the Torpedo Factory Art Center, where her fine art photographs won several awards. She started photographing weddings with MWP team in 2018 and quickly realized that capturing weddings combined all of her passions - creativity, helping others, and wonderful people. She believes it is such a joy and privilege to get to be a part of one of the most important days of others' lives. Her sweet, outgoing personality makes her fast friends with her couples and sets them at ease on their wedding day. Originally a Maryland native she now lives in Virginia and loves to spend her time with her husband, Michael and her energetic puppy, Duke!

She places a strong priority on connecting with her clients to give them an amazing experience and her calming presence keeps her couples comfortable and confident in front of the camera. She's also a wife and mom of 2 who loves traveling, plants, and catching up on TV shows.

With an associate wedding photography package you're working with multiple members of the MWP team. Here's the breakdown of how it'll all work!
the details
how's this work?
Before the wedding Maddy will handle all your communication with the team. She'll share vendor recommendations, help plan your photo timeline, and be there to answer any questions you have along the way! You'll also have an opportunity to meet your associate at your engagement session.
pre-wedding communication
Two weeks out from the wedding you'll have a final call with Maddy to run through the details of your wedding. Then your associate, along with a second photographer, will be there on your big day to photograph everything as planned!
the wedding day
After the wedding, your associate hands off all your photos to Maddy who edits them in her signature style and delivers the gallery to you.
editing & post-wedding
