March 14, 2021
My 2021 wedding season kicked off with Jeff and Christina’s intimate Fairfax wedding at her parents’ home! All those these two were originally planning for a wedding in June, when COVID made it clear it wasn’t going anywhere they decided to rethink their plans. Instead of the big summer wedding they’d been planning they decided to cut down the guest list to just their closest friends and family and have winter wedding 4 months earlier!
Their wedding ceremony, officiated by a close friend, took place in the foyer. Their family stood on either side of them to watch, (with some guests tuning in on Zoom!), and their friends gathered on the landing above. After exchanging vows they braved the outdoors for some portraits in the cold. We lucked out with snow just a few days beforehand and it stuck around for their photos!
Christina and Jeff, it has been so much fun getting to spend time with you over the past year! I’ve loved getting to know you both better and am so glad I was able to play a part in your wedding day. Best wishes with all that comes next and I can’t wait for our next photo session together!
