Kayla and Andrew were my very last session before COVID-19 isolation set in. I’m so glad we were able to squeeze in a cherry blossom engagement session for these two before everything shut down!
Although the day started off with some showers and was a little bit overcast, we had the perfect morning for these two’s portraits around the Tidal Basin. We started off near the saucer magnolias and then worked our way around the memorials to capture pictures in a few different spots with the cherry blossoms. We stopped for a quick outfit changed at the Lincoln Memorial and then looped our way back toward our cars and enjoyed a few more of the trees on the way back!
Kayla and Andrew are currently planning on tying the knot in July down in Luray, and we’re crossing our fingers that their summer wedding day works out. Regardless of when and where, I’m so excited to capture these two tying the knot this year! In the meantime enjoy some of my favorites from their cherry blossom engagement session!
