I’m so glad I got to meet up with Nataliya and Drew for their Old Town Alexandria engagement session!

We decided to meet up last week for a short engagement session around Old Town Alexandria. Old Town Alexandria engagement sessions are some of my favorite because of all the different variety in one small area! We started off exploring some of the older cobblestone streets, and luckily stumbled on some cherry blossoms that were in full bloom. After we walked down to the waterfront for a few more portraits at the docks and around Founder’s Park.

Nataliya and Drew are tying the knot at the end of the June on a weekday. Georgetown has always been a special place to them – it was the sight of their first date and where Drew proposed. When it came time to choose a wedding venue they knew they wanted to bring together their closest friends and family for an intimate affair somewhere in Georgetown as well. They ended up picking the beautiful gardens at Tudor Place.

I’m so glad I got to spend some time with Nataliya and Drew before their wedding in just a few short months. I can’t wait to capture their vows and portraits of these two at Tudor Place’s gardens!
