Sarah and Kevin are so much fun to be around! I was so excited to finally meet these two fellow JMU alums (Go Dukes!). We met up for their engagement session a few weeks ago at Oatlands Historic Home and Gardens. When we started to talk about their engagement session, Sarah and Kevin told me they liked locations with a lot of nature, but also loved old homes and architecture. Oatlands was the perfect fit for their portraits! The old plantation has a beautiful lined driveway, stunning manor home and huge gardens for visitors to explore. To top it off there are some fields on the edge of the property that get the most beautiful light as the sun starts to set.

Kevin and Sarah are easy to talk to and a joy to be around. They now live in Florida, so I was so glad we found time during a visit home to capture their engagement portraits! I can’t wait for their wedding day this November at the Piedmont Club in Haymarket.
