A Middleburg Estate Engagement Session

Chris and Jamie are so much fun to be around! They are both so kind and easy to talk to, and I had so much getting to know them both a little bit better as we raced to capture their engagement session in the humid Virginia heat before a thunderstorm caught us!

We met up a few weeks ago at a beautiful private estate in Middleburg, Virginia. Their families had a connection to the estate’s owner so we had the whole place to ourselves for the afternoon to explore. It was the perfect combination of gardens, beautiful architecture, and rolling fields! We were able to find perfect vignettes around every corner for their engagement portraits!

Jamie also thought to include some fun extra details and brought along a gorgeous bouquet and flower crown by their florist! Their dog, Katie even hopped in for some of the photos with her own matching flower crown!

I can’t wait to be photographing these two again in June 2021 at Sylvanside Farm!
