It’s officially spring in D.C.! After a few weeks off in the colder months, I was so excited to jump right back into engagement sessions with Anthony and Jessica. They booked me back in the winter and I’ve been looking forward to meeting them ever since! These two Michigan natives just moved to the area recently and are looking forward to their friends and family coming to town for their wedding at Alexandria’s historic Christ Church this fall.
Since Jessica and Anthony are new to the area an iconic district backdrop was the perfect fit to represent their new home. The cherry blossoms along the Tidal Basin came into peak bloom right around the same time as their session so it was the perfect spring backdrop. They braved an early wake-up call for some sunrise lighting and to avoid at least some of the crowds that flock to D.C. during the cherry blossom bloom. I can’t wait to see these two again for their wedding in September!
