Last Friday was such a fun-filled shoot for my 2018 senior team! The planning for this shoot started way back in the spring. I knew from the beginning I wanted to brainstorm fun vendors and locations that the team would love. It was so exciting to actually see it come to life, and spend the afternoon photographing all four of the spokesmodels in a styled shoot at 48 Fields, in Leesburg, VA.
We spent the afternoon getting ready at my home in Ashburn, VA. Each of the girls did their own hair, while makeup was provided by the wonderful Heather Rea Style Studio. Boho Nation loaned us clothes for all of the girls and a hat to incorporate in a few of the images! Their two stores opened a few months ago in the One Loudoun shopping center and has tons of comfy and cute sundresses and rompers that worked perfectly for our summery, carefree theme. After everyone was ready we drove over to 48 Fields in Leesburg, VA.
48 Fields is beautiful wedding and event venue tucked away in the heart of Loudoun County. The beautiful fields are tucked away in the woods and the property has an assortment of barns and houses to use as backdrops when shooting. It made for the perfect location for the spokesmodels’ portraits!
Despite temperatures being high earlier in the week and a small threat of rain, we ended up with beautiful weather that was actually pleasantly cool. We even lucked out by with some some glowy golden light to end the evening! All of the girls did an incredible job modeling and alternating back and forth turns in front of the camera. I’m so lucky to have these four on my 2018 senior team. I cannot wait for their individual sessions this summer!!
