Bluemont Vineyard Engagement Session

Kyle and Alli’s fall engagement session at Bluemont Vineyard was the perfect way to wrap up my fall sessions!

We started their session at The Stable at Bluemont.  The Stable is located on the same property as Bluemont Vineyard, just a little bit further down the hill.  Since there are stricter safety precautions in place right now because of COVID only this section of the grounds were open to us for photos, but it was the perfect place to begin at! While the vines weren’t quite in peak green anymore, they made for a colorful autumn backdrop. After spending sometime exploring the rows of vines and getting to know each other we hopped back in our cars and headed up the mountain to location number two!

The day of their engagement session also happened to be one of the last warm days of fall and when we arrived to the overlook it was so packed that cars were lining the road.  There were no spots left in the parking lot! Luckily we were each able to find a place to park and were quickly heading down the trail to the overlook. With some careful placement and some kind visitors who let us jump into a few spots, we were able to work around the huge crowds and capture their portraits with some amazing mountain views!

I had so much fun getting to know Alli and Kyle at their engagement session and I can’t wait to photograph these two again! They’ll be getting married next fall at Sylvanside Farm!
