Estate At River Run Engagement Session

Michael and Danielle wanted a slightly different vibe for their engagement session and were searching for a location that was a little more moody and editorial. They wanted something that had lots of unique backdrops and The Estate at River Run was the perfect fit! The Estate at River Run is a new wedding venue just outside of Richmond. Built in the early 80s, the estate sits on 62 acres and overlooks the James River. The outdoor landscaping is breathtaking with beautiful views of the river, boxwood gardens and gorgeous terraces. Even with crazy overcast skies it was still a perfect setting for Danielle and Michael’s engagement session.

Inside is just as breathtaking with each room filled with ornate details and architecture. My personal favorite rooms were the marble foyer where Michael and Danielle posed in their second outfit and the cameo ballroom. The huge windows and grand piano were so much fun to incorporate into their photos!

Danielle and Michael are getting married next fall at a private family estate. These two are planning the dreamiest outdoor wedding and I can’t wait to photograph them again!
