April 18, 2018
Despite being a Loudoun wedding photographer, I’ve never gotten the chance to visit Tranquility Farm in Purcellville until a few weeks ago. All of a sudden I ended up there back to back two days in a row! Tranquility is where my first 2018 wedding will be so I started the week with a walkthrough to learn the property. The next day Kirsten and Tommy met up with me for their engagement session!
Even though 2018 weddings don’t start until next week, 2019 weddings are already on my mind! Kirsten and Tommy are one of my first couples to book for 2019 and we took advantage of some 70 degree weather to capture engagement photos for them before the summer. We took our time exploring Tranquility in each of their outfits to get a variety of backdrops!
Kirsten and Tommy are both Virginia Tech Hokies and met at a party three years ago. They’ve been together ever since and over the holidays Tommy proposed as they toured Mount Vernon during a Christmas event! I love how sweet and giggly these two are with each other! They’ll be getting married in October 2019 at another beautiful Loudoun venue, Shadow Creek Weddings and Events.
You can check out some of my favorites from their engagement session below!
