Last weekend I got to capture Taylor & Drake’s beautiful Shenandoah Valley wedding at the Frontier Cultural Museum in Staunton, Virginia. I love any opportunity to head south for a wedding and after a short drive down got to meet these two for the first time! They were a bundle of excitement from the moment I arrived and I loved getting the chance to work with them! Taylor was beaming when I met her, and after introducing himself, the first thing Drake said was how he knew he was going to cry as soon as he saw her.

After a beautiful ceremony in the woods Drake, Taylor and their family headed back up the path to the Frontier Cultural Museum’s barn for their reception. After a busy day we had decided to hold off on their portraits until the very end. I’m so glad we did! We ended up with an amazing sunset to finish out the day. I’m so honored to have been the one to capture Taylor and Drake’s Shenandoah Valley wedding. They were such a joy to work with! Take a peek below to see some of my favorites from the day!
