I'm a Virginia wedding photographer based in Loudoun County and I spend my days photographing incredible couples in Virginia, D.C. and beyond. Explore some of my favorite sessions below!
Hi there, I'm Maddy!

The blog is back! After a month and half hiatus while I wrapped up my last college classes, caught up on a ton of editing and returned to a normal sleeping schedule I’ve finally had time to sit down and prepare some blog posts for the next few weeks! This year I took on 20 grad sessions for JMU seniors- I got to capture portraits for some of my closest friends and meet a ton of other amazing seniors. Check out some of the highlights below!
Hannah’s heading off to ECU in the fall for grad school!
Bailey was so much fun to talk to during her session and despite a lot of wind was a pro in front of the camera!
Jules and Brittany studied abroad with me in London and came with the most props and fun ideas for their photos! Also Jules made sure Bojack had his own cap and gown to join in on the fun and he completely stole the show while we were on the Quad!
This beauty is heading back across the pond in the fall for grad school. I’m so proud and can’t wait to crash on her couch as soon as I can!
I got lucky enough to work with a lot of cute couples during grad sessions- including Alexandra and Rob who met at JMU!
Kaylee, Breanne, and Sherrill were so much fun to work with and I loved talking up a storm with them as we waited our turn at all the prime photo spots!
Mackenzie was so sweet and I love the adorable gold bow she put on the back of her cap!
Caroline was a stunner in front of the camera and we lucked out with some beautiful golden light at the end of her session. Her boyfriend James also tagged along for a few!
A lot of my seniors had to deal with rain forcing their sessions to be rescheduled the last two weeks, including these four! I’m so grateful to for everyone staying optimistic about the weather and not letting clouds get in the way of all the fun (and champagne popping)!
Catt’s a fellow SMAD major and brought along 5 JAC cards that she had collected over the years!
Claire, Kate and Meredith met through their sorority and braved a humid, hot day for their session! I loved how sweet all their photos turned out!
Kelsey, Alexa, Samantha and Christine created this cute sign for their apartment they all shared and brought it along to their session. I’m also pretty sure they win the award for best champagne spray!
A couple seniors opted for props other than champagne including these four! Megan, Monika, Jackie and Katie brought along purple and yellow streamers just like we throw at football games for a little bit of fun on the Quad!
Olivia and I have known each other since freshman year through our UChapter of the To Write Love On Her Arms organization. I loved getting the chance to capture her beautiful portraits one morning!
Dana, Drew and Mackenzie had such a fun session and Mackenzie even brought along her boyfriend and adorable dog for a few photos!
Olivia was once of my last sessions before graduation and is heading to Florida in a few weeks to start her first job!
Jordan and I have been friends since elementary school, were dormmates freshman year and roommates sophomore year so this was one of the grad sessions I was most excited for!
And finally I wrapped up with session #20- Molly and Ian! These two are probably my most photographed couple– we’ve done photo swaps before and they’ve modeled for my styled shoot a couple weeks ago! We started by Wampler Hall, the dorm where they met freshman year walked all over the Quad for their photos!
