Isabella, Kostas and I met all the way back in March at Visit Loudoun’s Open House. They were still thinking through their venue choice at the time and I got the chance to chat with them briefly as they stopped by Tranquility Farm. A couple months later I was so excited to hear they had picked Tranquility for their venue and were on the search for their wedding photographer!

We started their engagement session at Bluemont Vineyards. Kostas and Isabella had been interested in a winery for their engagement session backdrop, and Bluemont’s beautiful views just can’t be beat! In September the vines are all still green and lush and the sun sets early on their side of the mountain providing the softest light. We took some time to take in the views and stroll through the vines before heading to stop number two.

Just a short drive away, we headed next to Bear’s Den Overlook. The overlook offers even more stunning views of western Virginia and faces out on the other side of the mountains. It was a tad crowded with lost of summer visitors, but luckily we were able to navigate around them and still capture lots of photos with the sunset.

I can’t wait for Kostas & Isabella’s wedding day next September. Until then, enjoy a few of my favorites from their session!
