July kicked off with Emily and Matt’s stunning wedding at Shadow Creek in Purcellville, Virginia! Tucked just outside of town, Shadow Creek is a gorgeous barn perfect for any wedding day. The venue has a beautiful outdoor patio and views of Loudoun County’s rolling hills. If you love Northern Virginia’s scenery this is a beautiful spot for a wedding!

Matt and Emily are high school sweethearts and met in Spanish class. The three of us actually all went to high school together so I’ve been looking forward to capturing their big day since they booked! They have been together over seven years! They told me that the part of their wedding day they were most looking forward to was getting to share their love with friends and family.

In the weeks leading up to Emily and Matt’s wedding gloomy forecasts had us packing umbrellas and discussing rain plans. However, when July 5 rolled around the weather was beautiful! Their rustic, but elegant day full of beautiful navy and blush details was sunny from start to finish.

I had so much fun reconnecting with these two and capturing their wedding day. Thank you so much to Emily and Matt for having me play a small part!
