It’s been almost nine months since this woodlands anniversary session! Today, I’m finally sharing the last of the Kayla Coleman Workshop. Back in April I got lucky enough to head down to Wilmington, North Carolina for Kayla’s workshop and it made such a huge impact on how I approached my 2017 wedding season. Kayla’s advice on everything from client experience and posing to editing and submitting to publications changed a lot of how I worked. She and the photographers I got to attend the workshop with have only continued to encourage me as I grow my business.
During the workshop we got to partake in three styled shoots. Kayla’s friends Kendra and Dom were kind enough to volunteer to model and dressed up for this mock anniversary/elopement themed session. We explored the woodlands around Walker World and wandered down to the dock that sat on Cape Fear. This session in particular taught me so much about posing and getting real natural reactions out of the couples I work with. I can’t wait to continue using these tips and tricks in 2018!
