Last week I shared an amazing forest bridal session on the blog and this week it’s a cozy at home sweetheart session! Just like last week’s photos I’ve been sitting on these since back in April when I went to the Kayla Coleman Workshop in Wilmington, North Carolina. At the time I was right in the middle of my college capstone and trying to keep up with over 20 grad sessions so editing these fell to the bottom of the list. Luckily I got a small break between then and wedding season and I’m happy to have these ready to share!
While at the workshop this at home session was the first of three styled shoots I got to take part in. Kayla’s friends Kendra and Dom were kind enough to volunteer to model, and they even brought along their pup! At the time I had never done an at home session before, but I ended up loving how natural and relaxed it was. At home sessions allow you to be much more yourself. If you don’t love getting dressed up or braving the outdoors these are a great alternative! They also aren’t weather dependent so rain or shine or high heat or cold they work perfectly! I can’t wait to shoot more of these intimate sessions in the future!
